Intro

Plant Heritage was struggling to find younger members and required a rebrand and marketing concepts. My solution combined a shield and leaf, symbolising the protection of the UK’s cultivated plants and flowers. I then rolled this into some marketing concepts aimed at children (Get them while they are young) that would include welcome packs containing trowels and kneeling pads in the shape of the shield logo. As you can see together they are similar to a sword and shield, once again tying into the protection of Britain's cultivated plants. As a social campaign concept, I suggested that we then get these children (with parents' help/consent) To share pictures of themselves on social media pledging to be "Plant Protectors".
